Today we both had a nice and relaxing day in mind. First, we started out by walking around my apartment to see what is near. I was hoping to find three things. 1. Food that I will like. 2. A gym. 3. A martial arts place (not sure place is the right word though). Thankfully, all three are right next to my building, so only a couple minutes walk away. The food is a little pizza joint that has pizzas about the size of a medium for around $5, plus I can split it for lunch and dinner. There is also another pizza place called Mr. Pizza. Here's why I mention it:

The gym is good enough, but if I do martial arts (the place I found is for Hapkido) then I don't think I'll be going to the gym.

So we had a relaxing day in mind, but I'm finding out in Seoul that just doesn't happen. There's just too many people. We hopped onto the subway to go to the Coex mall and found this guy, and it also shows what it's like to be on the subway:

On our way back, we really experienced Seoul's subway. No pictures or videos, but there were so many people that wanted to get on that we literally were shoved in the train by the crowd and couldn't move an inch.

Here's us at the Coex mall. If you don't remember, this mall is about 4 times as large as Westroads and it's not even the largest shopping place in Seoul, we'll go there later. This video is of the movie theater ticket area and some Korean author at a book signing, just showing how crowded it was:

Here's us at my favorite Korean restaurant that is right across the street from my place. The beef is awesome:

One other thing I'd like to add, I started this blog last night our time around 10:00 or so, and it's just now getting done loading all the videos. I thought Korea was supposed to have the fastest internet in the world?

The only reason why I know who wrote that is because you mentioned that you were looking for a martial arts place.

Are you getting more comfortable with the public transit? Does the train have any cool sounds when it is announcing different things? I loved Paris' little ding noises.

Also, I should have told you when you were here, during busy hours on the Paris metro if it was too crowded on the train and you wouldn't fit, have no fear...people would just grab you and pull you on and wait for the door to close and then everyone would spring back into an upright position. It was the weirdest thing and I thought I was being kidnapped at first! ;) fun times.

Jami looks so cute in her hat. I want to see more pictures or videos of you guys too. Food looked good, glad you found a pizza place. Was it pretty good pizza? Brandon said to make sure that good beef isn't congealed blooooood!

Yes, the train makes cute noises. Cole's a little camera shy and didn't video as much as he should. They had guards to make sure people got in and didn't get caught in the door. It was insane. I have really crappy internet right now, so until then, patients for the pics :) And the pizza is normal, which is major plus for us as that NOTHING is normal tasting here.

what about cereal?

The two kinds of cereal that I mostly eat are awesome, some of the best ever. One kind is just chocolate covered chex mix, but for some reason it's great, I think it's the texture. I think they're new so they both might be in the states.

have you ran into any homeless people riding the subway trying to sell gym yet? The homeless will go buy gum for like $0.25 and sell it on the subway for like a $1.00 to make money instead of begging for money.

I haven't even seen a homeless person yet.
